Ahh.. I was curious because up until recently I was involved in medieval re-creation and we used to have weekend tournaments as well.
There are quite a few reenactors who use "Wilhelm" as there name!

Flu slowed me down. Raahauges looks like good fun, but hasn't got a long range to try out our rifles. Lytle and Piru also looked sweet, but are a bit far north for OC and SD shooters. M'Lady, I'd love to attend a desert shoot, but an organized range might be easier for folks to find this time.

So I'd suggest Angeles Range. http://www.angelesranges.com/

While we won't have an action course of fire, it offers both rifle, shotgun and pistol targets on one side, on the other, metal targets out to 700yds for the big boys. It's a clean, safely run range with indoor bathrooms and food cart.

Imo, I'd like Skunkabilly to choose the date if he likes this range. It'd be a shame if he was the one who couldn't make it.

Okay, first you hold the rifle just about even with your armpit. now rotate it until it is sideways. Turn your ball cap backwards so the cases don't hit the bill. Remember to keep your hands well clear of the action, we would want the gold geting caught!
Now point it downrange, scream "bling bling beeaatch!" and pull the trigger as fast as you can.
Now your "bustin' caps"!!!!

No, didn't get yelled at. We, (the webshooters) used to have our group shoots at angeles, and it was really cool for the most part.We got the whole "eagles nest" for the day, and it was pretty much anything goes.Then the last time(I wasn't there)
the RO's started punking everyone out,no rapid fire,no belts linked to more than 10 rnds, checking ammo with magnets,etc.
SO, we go to Lytle Creek now.There is about 65 regulars and last time there was about 85 shooters on our line.
When there is another group shoot,I will post it here so all interested can show.
