I found a well-preserved S&W Model 64-4 snub-gun at a local dealer, a couple or three days before the 25th. I traded two G19 Glocks, that were vexing my aging hands. (Compact Nines, as a category, are no longer my friends.) This was my second 2” Model 64, in 2020, as I bought a 64-3 last Spring. Most of my training is now done with an S&W 17-4 .22 LR revolver, so, it makes sense to gravitate toward medium-frame revolvers for carry.
I like the pair-and-a-spare concept, so, with two Models 64, and a pre-Model 10, all 2”, I am all set.
This is a link to the dealer’s page, for the 64-4 I brought home. Yes, the asking price was high, but it was in near-pristine condition, and, I traded disused pistols that had become painful to shoot, so spent no actual cash.
