So what will be your next handgun purchase??

It will be either a CZ-83, or a Springfield armory 1911 Mil Spec. I know I'll end up getting both, but I don't know which one I'll get first.

Probably a stainless double action revolver, caliber either .38 Special or .45 Colt. I've about narrowed my choice to a Ruger Redhawk with 5.5" barrel or a vintage S&W Model 64. (Or maybe I'll just spring for both!)

Kimber Custom II. Ordered it today, should be shooting it next weekend.

My Kimber Custom Compact stays on the night stand. It carrys very comfortably, but is too heavy to compare with the Keltec P-40 for all day long carry. The Kimber is more accurate, giving me about 2" smaller groups at 25 yds. than the Keltec. but for the distances I would most likely have to use it, it's a moot point.

During the X'mas season, while geting in the car I somehow managed to hit the door jam & swipe the clip off my Alessi Talon + holster for the P-40, so have been carrying an old S&W M65 for the past few weeks while Lou Alessi is putting on a new belt clip. I discovered last week I can still can pop the head off a squirrel at 25 yds (he was destroying the bird feeder across the parking lot from my shop) with the S&W M65 revolver. He was chewing up my bird feeder & the '65 was on my hip, so..... the 125g Golden Sabres didn't leave much for the dogs to clean up. ;-)

The P-40's holster arrived back in todays mail, repaired without an invoice. I emalled Lou Alessi asking him to let me pay for replacing the clip, as it was my fault the dang thing broke.....

My body is sure going to be happy to be carrying the Keltec P-40 again! It's about 1/2 the weight of the Kimber or M65, & after 8 hours or so, that's a BIG relief! THANKS LOU!

Hmm..
Probably a 92FS to back up my Elite II.

Now as we are about to get stuck with some bastard laws down here in OZ, in the near future (120mm barrel length for pistols, 100mm for revolvers, 10 round mags, 9mm maximum calibre) I can see the following:

S&W outdoorsman, 6.5 inch barrel. 38 special on an N frame, because I want it. :)

Springfield XD Tactical to replace my glock 17 & 19, as soon as they are imported.

9mm H&K Tactical is also a possibility as they will still be legal.

My girlfriend wants a stainless Beretta Vertec to go with her 92FS.

Custom 4 inch barrel for my model 60 S&W so I can keep it.

S&W 4 inch model 66 for my dad to replace his 640.

And a custom built STI single stack in 38 super may be on the cards later in the year.

Hmm. quite a shopping list. I better get to work and make some money. :)

Wilson KZ45
Glock 17
Sig P220

I'll eventually purchase all three (I hope...) but for now am having a difficulty trying to decide which one...

Maybe I'll draw one out of a hat?

I have been looking at the Kel tec pistols for CCW, and I cannot decide wich one. So I think I will get one of the P32's and a P11, and maybe even carry them both :D

I'm looking at a Glock 21. I figure I've bought plenty of 1911's, it's time I get a gun that I wouldn't mind getting a little beat up. I love the .45 ACP, so I think I'll just get other guns chambered for it. My next .45 ACP guns will probably be a revolver, CZ-97, Ruger P-90, Beretta 8045, Sig, and a G-30.

Man, I gotta start saving!

I always have my eye out for lonely Norinco 1911's, though...

Radagast - the shop I deal with regularly has a very nice Model 23 S&W Outdoorsman, N-frame, 6.5 inch barrel, .38 special, looks to be real, real clean and very tight. I think he has a price of about 340 on it. Don't know how much wiggle on that number. If you're interested give a holler here and I'll let you know the particulars for contacting him. I don't see them too often and if I didn't have other things higher on my list and if I were a bit richer than I am I'd get it me own self.
