Solo 1000 and .45 ACP?

Have a chance to get a bunch of Solo 1000 way cheap. Has anyone used this in .45 ACP? Comments would be appreciated. Clean, dirty burn?

I tried it years ago. Worked fine. Burns real clean. Acts a great deal like 700X, but of course it isn't.

Love it in 45 auto. Burns cleanly, and as you know it's bulky with large flakes. It's also very, very accurate in my P220. If needed, I have data for Solo 1000 from a sales sheet in 9mm. Never have tried it because I prefer slower propellants for that caliber, but it does exist.

Jump on that deal!!! I will get the load data tomorrow and post it up. Very comfortable clean load for plinking. I wanna say 4.7, but dont remember right now. will post in the morning.

S1000- 185g/200g LSWC

Researched S1000. Starting charge is 3.8grs. With 185g/200g/45 LSWC-target range would be about 4.0 to 4.5g. I use 4.0/200g SWC at 25yds-is clean,accurate and no functioning problems.

A number of very particular bullseye competitors at my club use solo 1000 for their bullseye pistol loads.

3.8 gr and a 200 LSWC at 25 yards and 4.0 gr and a 200LSWC at 50 yards.
