I would do it myself but unfortunately I have to wait for the blued Anaconda… :)

Hickock 45 has a video on one. Shows it next to his "old" 6" Python. It was close. Really close. Except for the grips I couldn't tell which was which. And the grips ain't bad if you ask me. I like the ones on my two SS ones.

I might end up with a blue 4 (.25) one of these days, but I'm in no big rush. And I haven't seen one yet. :)

I Like the 4” guns no doubt about it but my hang up is that it seems Colt decided to stuff three vents on the barrel rib of the 4.25” version. That’s just a bit to cluttered and busy for my taste.
I don't know if it's true or not, but I've heard that was on a few preproduction guns. The production guns have the normal vent slots. I hope that's true anyway, but I could have my arm twisted either way.

At least in that picture on impact guns the blueing isn't very impressive. I'll have to see one in person!

I’ve only seen one so far, and it was spoken for. When they get in the pipeline, I plan to get a 4.25” and 6” as partners to my stainless examples. I might still get a 2.5” or 3” stainless one, just because. The blue is not as lustrous as a 50’s or 60’s Python but way better than any other blued guns available today, save for custom examples. Oh, and a blue Anaconda? Uh, yeah. I’ll get a couple of those too.

I've been eyeballing them but would rather have an Anaconda myself.
A bit of a downturn at the shop and cut hours have me thinking that it's gonna be awhile before I can get another, so I reckon I can wait. They sure do look nice.

I’m trying to like New Colt… Very Much Trying hard! but that Ai Robot Code they got in the side gun bothers me! Like putting Classic on a Colt 1911
I meant to comment on this a couple of days ago, but forgot it.

Mark, the code is nothing but the SN, at least that's all that's on my two. My understanding is it it allows them to simply scan the gun as it goes through various stages of manufacture and not have to pick it up and physically write down a S/N. Could they have have put it somewhere else? Probably. I've heard that someone puts it under the grips (can't remember who just now) but don't know that for a fact. I guess it's just one of those things that I look at and after that just overlook it. Sort of like the lock on a Smith and Wesson. Most people hate it. I don't even see it anymore.

I studied manufacturing technology in college, majored in it, (yes, I’m still dumb as dirt) they had high speed camera that can detect defects in a grain of rice and puff it out off the line. That was 30 years ago!

Number scanning tec is OLD!

QR code is for Robots bro!

I don’t mind the QR code on the Python at all. Hell, I’ll probably have a QR code tattooed on my forehead before long. I will be assimilated. We all will. And Soylent Green is People! Ok, I said it all. Now I am going back to shoot my Colts and not be paranoid.

Yea, but at the end of the day, you'll know it's not a Python. I did it for years myself. Oh, It's just a good as a Python, and cost a lot less. ;) :)

But it's not a Python. Where's that pot and the big spoon? ;)
fine! but Im putting nail polish over the robot code
