Sons first trip to the gun range.

My sons first time to the range.. Remington nylon 66 22. 30yds out. Before we left he was knocking 12g hulls around at that distance..

That's really cool. Kudos on teaching your kid early! How old is he? (Not creepy, I swear. )

He's 9. And listened to every thing he was told to do. I'm very proud of how good he did. We did have did tell him to calm down and not to rush his shots. But sometimes i still get a little to pumped up to..

My sons first time to the range.

Seems like only yesterday it was the same for my youngest. He shot my 686 for the first time. Eleven years later when he turned 18, I gave him the 686. A week ago Saturday, we went to the range, shot his 686 and half a dozen other handguns. Friday, I moved him into his college dorm. Gonna be a while before we get to shoot again.....together.

Enjoy it, cherish it and make the most of it. They grow up to fast.
