Might try the paper instead of snap caps. Also, a chunk of mousepad might work, or similar high density foam.

But I like buying things, so I will probably end up with some snap caps also.

with snap caps you can practice clearing jams and reloading too...

a few days ago i was practicing el presidente in the gun room. rearranged the targets to have three 10" ones across the room, and ran it like it was the real thing, but all DA pulls. this of course, was with the sp-01. i'm sure i debuted as C in lim-10, i may try to do production this sunday at a match, where we will have 6 classifiers.

Saw that you could simulate ftfs with snap caps. just put on in with some normal rounds, loads some mags, shoot, get a "ftf" clear the gun. Seems like good practice.

Would also help knowing if you were flinching each shot when you get click, no boom.

yeah, mix them into your mags at the range and practice clearing jams.

Wish I lived closer to a range. But I do live on some land where I can shoot., still not the same as a range

i guess..... but out on your land it's never crowded, no range bullies, and plenty of room to move around. good practice for sport shooting.

Just need a bulldozer, make my own berm. Build some boxes, make my own outdoor range.

Long drive from georgia.

Have a pseudo berm, basically a pile of dirt the was left there after a dozer cleared a space for a pole barn. Problem is if I got 25 yards back, that pole barn is in the way...

If I got really bored i could make one better, but shoveling and number of cubic feet of dirt is not fun... even if I get to put bullets into it.
