This is getting mean spirited and drifting into the area where we have to start correcting people for personal attacks.
Mullis1911, I'd suggest you spend some time using the search function to look for other recent threads on the question of the costs and benefits of open carry. It has been discussed quite often here, and some very articulate arguments have been made on each side.
Then once you've studied what has been written, if you still have questions, you can start another thread on the subject. Please be careful not to couch your posts in a confrontational or antagonistic way with regards to the choices that others make or that thread will end up as unpleasant and valueless as this one.
