Go to madogre.com and watch the BOOM HEADSHOT. You will hear a slite plink in the back ground after the BOOM. But still far from plinking. Thats me!!!!!!

The yellow tips are mostly TW4 but also a few DM 4. What do these head stamps mean?

If the yellow tipped stuff has DM (Des Moines, 4 would be 1944) and TW (Twin Cities, 1944) it's probably reloaded or the tip was orange (tracer) and faded.

Got a pic?

For what it's worth the Hunting Shack's prices on quite a few different types of ammo are more than reasonable.

I take it the first two on the left are burgandy which makes them tracers, more then likely M17. The next two in line (orange) are M10 tracers and then what looks like an M2 AP round. The last one I can't tell what the color is, is it black or dark green?

The ones on the right are both black tips. My camera phone does not do a very good job of reproducing color.

What is the functional differance between the M17 and M10 tracers?
