I've read that the zinc slide of the Walter P22 necessitates the use of a Dry Lubricant when cleaning and lubricating. Can anyone confirm this?

Is there any other special cleaning advice?

Thanks

This is a quote from the "P22 Bible":
"Clean all grease off the pistol and magazines, spray them down with Birchwood Casey Gunscrubber or similar, blow dry or allow to dry then spray with something like Remington RemOil with Teflon. I blow off any excess with compressed air. I then rub a dry powdered mixture of moly/teflon on the frame grooves and slide rails and on the barrel sleeve."

I use oil and grease on mine (actually it's more the wife's) with no problems.

Regards,
Greg
