Anyway, back on 8/4/2021, I bought a Colt King Cobra, 3". I have not had the chance to fire it and SW is supposed to have sent it back to Colt sometime after 8/14/2021. Haven't heard a peep from SW or Colt as of this thread.
So I went to the Sportsmans Warehouse website and after perusing the available goodies, I thought to myself:
"Self, you should write a review of your Colt King Cobra".
And my Self said, "Hey! That's a great idea!"
And so I did. Upon clicking to submit my review, I got the message that they had already accepted a review from me. Really, thinks I??? I don't recall writing a review of this gun....
So, I scrolled through and read every review of the Colt King Cobra on their website. Not a singe one of them could have been attributed to me. Not even close.

So my question to the THR world is: Does Sportsman's Warehouse selectively post the reviews on their website throwing a percentage of those they may deem not good promotional material?
Has anyone else had a similar experience?

I don't get the story or the question. You say you bought a gun that SW is supposed to have returned to Colt despite you never having tried it out. You're saying that you returned it to SW under warranty or something?

If you never shot the CKC, are you able to write a thorough review on it, or are you just wanting to mention the defect(s) that prompted you to return it?

Have you submitted a review on their site of any other gun? I've found that some retail sites cross-index, or simply clump together reviews of multiple, but similar, product models, leaving me to have to scroll through them to find reviews on the specific model in which I'm interested.

It wouldn't necessarily surprise me if some site operators strike unfavorable reviews, or reviews that could not have been accurate (for example, someone mixing up models so that a review cannot make sense.)

You're saying that you returned it to SW under warranty or something? I shall try again: I bought a Colt King Cobra new at SW. It malfunctioned right out of the box in that it would sometimes fail to advance the cylinder. During dry firing, this occurred 63 consecutive times. This is not normal revolver operation, in my past experience, and I felt it was unsafe to fire live ammunition in the weapon. I returned it to SW who said they would send it back to Colt for warranty service. They would not refund nor would they exchange the unit.

If you never shot the CKC, are you able to write a thorough review on it, or are you just wanting to mention the defect(s) that prompted you to return it? I was curious that, when I attempted to write a review, the website told me I had already written and submitted one (which I do not recall doing). I then skimmed all of the reviews on their website, but the review I had supposedly written was not there. Therefore my question: Has anyone else experienced this?

I hope this clarifies my original post.

^^ It does. Some key details were missing in the original, such as that you did indeed return the revolver under warranty due to a defect (the details of which, while appreciated, weren't necessary for a question about submitting a review.) I also didn't know if you were restricting your intended review to the gun, or to the gun, maker, and retailer.

In addition to what I mentioned earlier, I have submitted reviews, orders, etc only to get a message that whatever I was doing was "already submitted", then found out that it was referring to what I was actually doing, as if it was "double-tapped." That happened at Bud's once, or maybe it was Kentucky Gun. Are you sure the review you actually clicked "submit" on wasn't posted? A check on "Colt King Cobra" on Sportsman's Warehouse turned up several models, all with their own reviews. I'm assuming yours would have been a "one-star", and I don't think any of the three of those I saw was from you. It's possible that it could have indeed been stricken, which would be unethical, in my opinion.
