I've bought powder, primers and bullets at the one here in Oklahoma City since in opened; not too many places locally carry powder & primers, and SW seems to have prices at least as good as the others, often a bit lower.

They've also got a lot of things like shellholders for RCBS case trimmers, which nobody else carries(that I've found, at least).
 
I use the one in Austin, best prices around. Would have to order a whole lot to through mail order to save any money.
 
I'm going to check out the new one we have in St. Cloud, Mn. I have heard good things about the service and price.
The Gander Mnt. here is HIGH on thier price's.

I wouldnt say the service is any better than any other big store they seem to fish out of the same moron pool as everyone else.
 
They are the only 'big box' store anywhee near me,so I can't compare prices,but they are inline or a tad cheaper than the smaller store around here.
They have more reloading supplies than any ten stores near me,so they are my 'go to ' store..presses,wads,shot bullets by the thousands EXCEPT LEAD. :(
 
I purchased a H@R 38-55 about 3 months back (rifle) seem the only problem was fax a copy of my buddies FFL they seem not able to read it :I had to mail a copy threw the mail seem the salesman could of double check it with the online ATF
transaction went smooth otherwise
 
Yes, I use go to the one in Portland, and have purchased bullets, powder, primers, and loading tools. Their prices have gone crazy for everything. CCI primers $27.00 a brick IMR powder, 4895 $141.00 for 8lbs, and bullets are out of site. I have moved on to other suppliers online, even with hazmat and shipping I get better prices.
 
I also shop at the Austin location. We have a sportsmans warehouse north of town and a cabelas south of town. As a bench mark on prices i can get 100 .45 ACP 230g FMJ Hornady bullets for about 25 bucks at cabelas or for 21 at SW. The only thing they don't seem to keep stock of is 45 acp brass...they have everything else for reloading.

I also bought my last 3 pistols from them. Don't feel like i got a great deal on them but don't feel like i got screwed(except for the walter ppk/s...bought a broken gun but its under factory warranty.)

Ammo prices compare to walmart. The value pack(250rd) of RemUMC 45acp is 75 bucks. WWB 9mm 115gr 50round boxes are about 12 bucks. WWB 45 acp 50 round boxes are about 25 bucks.

Great store, the wide availability of equipment and supplies makes it worth paying a few extra bucks over ordering from on-line vendors.
 
I gave up on reloading supplies from the St. George store. I have been in there 5 times for brass, powder & primers and keep striking out. It's a nice looking store but.......................
 
When in Albuquerque, I usually run through the Sportsmans Warehouse there. I have bought some on sale ammunition, a Tikka rifle, Leuopold scope, and a Hornady LNL-AP press there. I usually stop there for things I can't find locally. Reloading components, I can get as cheap or cheaper locally, but if I actually want to look at something ie., chrono, I have to go there or order online sight unseen. Don't have much of an opinion good or bad. I keep track of prices on several things, and just pick them up where they are the cheapest.
 
I used to buy from the one here on the northside of DFW but it closed down last month. They always had what I needed but allot of guys complained they never had anything instock.
 
I recently bought a S&W 642 at Sportsmen's Warehouse for $50 less than my local gun shop wanted for the exact same model.
 
Sportsman's Warehouse is a great store, although I wouldn't call it my favorite. It is, however, the most convenient for me as it's only about 10 miles away from where I live and about 2 miles away from where I work. I find their prices on reloading supplies and guns to be better than average, but not unbeatable.

Mainly, I like them for the selection and convenience.
 
I go to one 30 miles from my house. They carry more powders than the old established Dealer at prices equal or less than mail order (after Haz Mat fees and shipping). Their bullet selection for target/range purposes sucks. With local ranges starting to ban exposed lead (jacketed rounds only), they should have some stock of pistol bullets like Zero's, MG, or at least bulk Hornady and Winchester. Primers are also better priced than ordering unless I order 50,000 or so.
 
Yep - go to the Sportsmen's warehouse in Woodbury whenever I'm in the neighborhood. Good prices on primers and powder. I also bought my .22 there (Ruger 22/45).
 
I usually buy my powder from Sportsmans Warehouse, 8 lb jug of Unique is $96 + tax, I've yet to find a cheaper price anywhere else. Primers, I usually get at the gun show. Sportsmans Warehouse here wants $26.95/1000 for Winchester small pistol, the gun show's I frequent, they are $23.95/1000.:D

I also find their gun prices to be very competitive, with a pretty good selection.
 
I spend enough there that I should be able to list them as a dependent on my 1040. Seriously though, I just checked, and saw that I've spent over $7000 there since February '06. :eek:

They generally have better prices than the local gun shop, several of the staff behind the gun counter are quite knowledgeable, and they have a decent selection of ammo.

They also give a 5% Military discount here, which is nice.
