Hi,
theres a pawn shop by me that has one of these on a really nasty looking rem700 in 7mm mag.Im pretty sure I can get the manager to sell it separately. The optics are very clear, but the bullet drop reticles are probably for .308 match loads out of M1A's, right? Its a 30mm tube.
Are these of high quality and respected by those in the know?
Apparently either they licensed their name to someone, or SA isnt making these anymore.

Would I be doing good if I get it off of him for $150-200?
I have always wanted a savage 10fp in .308; IS this good glass?

thank you much, :)

if you can get $150-200, it's a steal!!! These have the reputation of hit and miss, but for that price you can't lose

Check the eye relief. On some of the early Springfields you have to put your eye about 1/2 inch from the scope - painful when you pull the trigger!

sa scope

If you can get the Springfield scope for under 250 that would be a steal for sure. The SA scopes I think are made by Hakko of Japan. Very high precision made stuff.
