or, does anyone know where i can find thin grips for a p9?

Early Tanfoglio-based guns (like the Springfield P9, which was based on the Italian parts, but assembled in the U.S.) were very close to CZs. You might ask the CZ Custom shop if they fit. I'm reasonably sure they'll know.

walt, i contacted czcustom already. their answer was a firm 'i dont know'.

Well, in that case, it's a "firm" I'm sorry; I feel your pain...

If anyone nearby has a CZ, and their grips will fit on your P9, you're probably OK.
