Springfield magazines interchange with European American Arms, (EAA), so you can buy EAA mags, and these will be somewhat easier to find.

Due to current law, the max capacity is still 10 rounds, and these will be fairly easy to find.

I'd recommend a search on the internet for the cheapest supplier.

I bought a bunch of 12 rnders from CDNN which were actually 41 action express mags if I remember right. Anyway, they work perfectly in the P9 in 40S&W and are quite nice. I think I actually picked up 6 or 8 of them.

Enjoy your P9. They are great guns. What did you buy? Mines a P9Ultra and I have a P9 in 9mm.

Someone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong (I have been many times before) but wasn't the P9 just imported by Springfield? As in the parts were shipped into the US and then assembled by Springfield. I'm thinking that the manufacturer was actually Tanfoglio, manufacturer of the Witness line. Of course, the quality control for the witness line seems to have slipped. And EAA's customer service is just this side of horrendous by many accounts.

Sorry, just thinking out loud mostly.

In fact MOST of the CZ-75-type guns are and were actually made by Tanfoglio.

The FIE, EAA, Springfield, Israeli Eagle, the Swiss AT series, and several others were all made and more or less finished by Tanfoglio.

Springfield seemed to have done more finishing than some others, since their guns were much smoother and better finished.
