Has he ever tried the "plunk test" with his reloads and the Loaded's barrel? i.e. field strip the gun. Point the barrel straight down at the floor. Drop a cartridge into the barrel. The cartridge should fully drop in, making a hollow "plunk" sound as the case mouth hits the end of the chamber. Then invert the barrel. The cartridge should drop out without any help. If the reloads won't do this, try again with a freshly resized piece of brass. If the brass won't do it, you have a sizing die issue (not properly resizing the brass). If the sized brass passes the test, likely issues are either the bullets are loaded too long for that barrel, you don't have proper "crimp", or you've got crooked seated bullets bulging the brass.

Crimp should just be straightening out the brass. Crimping smaller than about .470" is likely to cause other issues.
