Last Springfield Armory catalog I saw had a few variations on their break-action over/under. The had a 10" pistol and a 16" carbine with folding stock. Whatever happened to these? That was the last I saw of them. Has anybody ever seen one in person or bought one? Any comments?

Looks like it's going to turn up as the basis for a prop raygun in the next "seedy alien bar" scene in some movie or sci-fi show.

OH MY GOD IS THAT AN EVIL FOLDING STOCK!!! On a serious note I'm sure it's very handy but probably not one of their bigger sellers so they may have just canned it. And oh yeah it is really ugly.

It's ugly and its mommy dresses it funny.
It also has its bore axis absurdly high above the firing hand and it looks like it would be impossible to cock the hammer with the thumb of the firing hand. And it's ugly.

Well, I read that yesterday in the Rifleman. I'm not holding my breath, but I will speak with those at the Springfield Armory display in Vegas in a few weeks and see what they have to say.

Dene at RSR informed me that he hasn't seen any and that, as far as he knows, they haven't gotten any yet.

Cocking hammer? Yep, that looks like you'd probably hold the barrel while you opened the action and then cocked the gun with your weak hand once you gripped the pistol grip with your strong hand. On the standard scout, I have always used my strong hand to cock the gun.
