This just looks like it may fill the bill for me in a real compact, still a double stack carry gun. I am looking for the small footprint for when I am running. I have read the reviews online and they look pretty favorable. Looking for hands on though. If you own one ,and can chime in, let me know any pros and cos you have with this pistol.

-THANKS

they are a great pistol. I owned the original (pre mod2) and decided the improved grip and the sights were reason enough to upgrade. The fact it takes my full size mags is a bonus as well. Receiving the pistol with 2 mags, and then also 4 more mags + holster and mag carrier with the current promo makes it a no brainer.

I was looking for a double stack that carried well. I had the Glock 27, great pistol but I didn't bond with it.
Got the mod 2 subcompact .45 and after firing a few hundred rounds and then IWB carrying it, it was a sure winner for me in all respects....so much that I soon after picked up the mod 2 in 9m. Both are very accurate, Comfortable to shoot, carry and are reliable.
The Xd platforms work well for me

The Mod 2 45 is a nice little pistol. I added a PRP Trigger and a Pearce Grip extension. Couple that with a 13 rd. back-up mag, what's not to like?

For running though? Its a bit large for that. Id look more at an lcp or something much smaller.

It's an amazing gun I have one in 45, a carries extremely well to conceal carry as well.

I have the original Sub Compact 9mm, and really like it. I shoot it much better than the Glock equivalent. I'd bet the Mod 2 would be even better.
