I have a springfield xdm on .40 cal It's the olive and silver one. I like it but can't hit anything cause of the trigger creep. A friend has a Springfield 1911 in 45 cal and wants to trade me + 50 bucks to me. I like the trigger on the 1911 way better. I like the 1911 platform also. Just want some back up so I know I'm making the right decision. What would y'all do. Can I get the xdm trigger like the 1911 trigger? I've heard not

He wants to trade YOU his 1911 PLUS 50 bucks for your xd.40...? Do the trade.

Which 1911 specifically? Even if it's just a base model Springer I'd say it's an ok deal.

Plus, you like the 1911 better so... What's to lose? (assuming the 1911 is ok).

XDm's are nice pistols. Not cheap either. You could have the trigger worked. Just food for thought. :scrutiny:

Practice makes perfect. (or at least better)
That XDM will likely be the better "go to / never fail" gun.
And yes, I own and shoot 1911s.
