Greeting's All-
I'm quite sure we could fill volume's on our favorite here, but as much that
has been written I thought it would be fun to list the top three reasons
why you chose one over the other. This is "bashing" one or the other,
just kind'a was wondering what criteria you used in choosing your favorite~!
I will begin, as these are my three reasons for choosing an XD-45 ACP over
a Glock 21:
a) Grip- besides the angle, the grip just feels natural too me; and I have
huge mitts.
b) Fully Supported Chamber- even though the .45 ACP is a low pressure
round, I feel the need of a fully supported chamber; mainly cuz it do a lot
of handloading.
c) Shooting Hard Cast Lead Bullets- I know it can be done in Glocks also;
but its really not recommended by the "so called" factory experts. Frankly,
I don't know of any manufactuer of firearms that condones the use of
handloaded ammunition, period~!
And, as a side note I guess you could add the XD's features too the list.
You will notice that I'm not at all impressed with the XD's G.E.A.R. '06
accessory package; a $70 value. Its OK, but I just can't get excited
about it. Also, hopefully no one will ever need it but Springfield Armorys
Customer Service is top notch; and ranks right up there with S&W's
and SIGARMS~!
