Staple guns for the range.

I forgot my staple gun this week when I went to the range.

I have one at the back door of the shop here at the house and keep one in my range bag for matches and such but kept forgetting one at the cabin on our farm. I modified an old mail box to hold all the stuff we use at the range, can’t forget it, if it’s already there.

That little fold up laundry bag is the best bench top brass catcher I have used.

Mailbox on the range.... Now I've seen everything. Good idea. I've been thinking of doing something similar on my range. So I didn't have to pack it all back there.

I forgot my staple gun this week when I went to the range. I didn’t realize how crappy other staple guns are. This is the Arrow T-50p. Made in the USA. I looked at their website and they are made in china now. :(Just wanted to show off my staple gun.

This is my stapler. There are many like it, but this one is mine.

Whatever stapler you use, be sure to bring plenty of extra staples. Once I was at the range when another shooter asked if he could use my stapler since he had forgotten his. Of course I let him. He was shooting a full-size human silhouette target, and proceeded to put a staple about every four inches around the entire perimeter. Oh well--staples are cheap...

I have an old arrow from when we were using a different range years ago and it worked great as long as I remember to keep staples in it,now we use clothespins.

I have actually thought of getting a thumb tack pusher for range use. Smaller and lighter than a staple gun and when you are finished with the target you could test your tack driver. 67DAB92A-4106-4556-9A2E-7AEC300ADF3D.jpeg

This is my favorite one. :)View attachment 1046222. It’s my ye olde Teutonic staple gun.

I do usually bring a Stanley stapler as well though.

My Heckler & Koch VP70z was once referred to as a staple gun.

I usually have an Arrow in my range bag. I also figured out where another shooter stashed some thumbtacks. Same place I would have put them. We shooters are kind of predictable.
