Stevens 22-calib breakdown handgun

I am trying to locate schematics or owners manuals or any other info available on the hand gun pictured in the attachments. This is a J. Stevens single shot, manufactured in Chickopee, Mass. The number stamped inside gun on the handle and on the barrel is 3426. Under the barrel is stamped 22-Long Rifle. I have not been able to find any info on any internet source concerning this gun and I have never seen one like it before. Any information or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. The illustrated pistol is a Stevens Target No 10.
Flayderman says 7131 made from 1919 to 1933.
Sorry, I don't know where to get literature.

I have no idea where you would find an owners manual.

Could have been back then, whatever meager instructions there were was pasted in the lid of the box it came in.
I just don't know.

bamagramps, try to find a copy of the Gun Collector's Digest 5th Edition. On page 194 is a photo of the gun with a bit of info in the caption. On page 200 is more info on the No. 10. There doesn't seem to be any complete history of the gun mentioned but simply scattered comments about it.

The article is titled "The Single Shot Target Pistol in the U.S. 1870-1940." It's rather lengthy and covers a lot of old iron.

They shoot pretty well, but are heavy. They were made at a time when auto pistols were just beginning to be "cool" and Stevens tried to make the gun look like an autoloader. Oddly, while having a cocking knob at the rear, it is not striker fired; the knob is linked to a conventional hammer.

I had mine out a couple of weeks ago and got strange looks when I tipped the barrel instead of racking a slide.

Either Flayderman is wrong on the numbers, or they didn't start at 1 because mine is 811x.
