Steyr M or S 9mm... Good idea or not?

do you know if that adapter will work on the s40 I believe the front slot is not totally enclosed

I would not use the adapter with the S series. lack of support for it is one thing. it hangs off the frame and just looks like it would be asking for trouble. if the adapter was made to fit the size of frame and get extra support from the trigger guard then I would take one. would not put anything heavy duty on it. mini glock or xd light. I am not to fond of lasers. overpriced accessories imo. flashlight is uber convenient for night time though it can also be a disadvantage as well.

I think Bulman Gunleather has holsters for the Steyrs.

Fist makes holsters for both the M and the S series (Although the S series isn't yet listed, they do infact make them, I have one on the way)

Highnoon makes them for the M series, I bought a Mr. Softy and it's working fine and dandy for my S40.

The Holster that Steyr sells is for both the M and S series, In reality the S series is only .42 inches shorter in barrel length than the M series, so using any holster made for the M series for an S series isn't going to add much to the Holster.
