I agree 100% about the horrendous trigger!
However, i do feel that if we would ever be so fortunate to see the importation of another CZ model by CZ-USA, the gun would
out-Glock the mighty Glock on several accounts.
1. PRICE $$
The Selective Action CZ-110 would sell for around $299 Dealer.
No Glock, new or even used (that i know of) sells for near that low of a price tag. New shooters(not sure of guns, and not
wanting to spend much money on a new hobby) or those on a budget would be better served with the economical, but still great quality CZ
ERGONOMICS.
The CZ-100/CZ-110 points much better and faster than the
Glock. This is in my opinion and of many a Glock owner who owns
or has handled/shot a CZ 100 series gun.
RELIABILITY. The CZ-100/110 are equally reliable or more so
than the Glock 19. Citing the Phase 3 malfunctions as exp.
by the NYPD and other agencies/gunowners. The 100 series
will chew up any 9mm fodder you can stuff into it. The guns
tend to be trouble-free and not subject to recalls or 'upgrades'
as some Glocks. As i was long impressed with the reliability
with my Glock 17 and 26. I am equally impressed with the
100. While the Glock sees police servcie. The CZ-100 is a
Czech national police pistol, as is the PCR/P-01, and CZ99.
With a world-wide reputation for Reliability as Job One. The
polymer offering lives up to the CZUB trademark.
Hi-CAPS. The plentiful 15-shot CZ75B magazines work splendid
in the 100 series. They cost WAY less than a genuine Glock 9mm
Hi-cap!
SIGHTS. Steel Adjustables on most 100/110s, not fixed plastic sights. The Glock having and edge on after-market sights.
ACCURACY. Some guys are quick to point out just how darned
accurate the CZ-100 is. Well, the CZ-110 is even more of a
tack-driver..due to the improved trigger control. Those owners
in South Africa and the Philipinnes just rave about the 110!
They find them to be far more accurate than any Glock 17/19s.
PENDING MARKET.
While most shooters know about or own Glocks.
I do think that the CZ-110 will turn some heads. Those guys
and gals who have long admired/lusted for a polymer CZ with
a decent trigger, but passed on the 100's DAO and LOUSY
reputation on the internet and among shooters who decry
the horrid trigger pull.
The CZ-100 was designed as a POLICE issue gun. With the
goal of producing a fail-safe type service pistol..one that takes
a deliberate act to discharge the pistols. They took the DAO concept a bit to far, and the resulting trigger pull is what
keeps the 100 from be readily accepted.
A CZ-110 is what others around the world enjoy shooting,
and many a CZF member and others pine for the model to reach our shores. Light, Compact, Rugged and Trustworthy. The CZ-110 has a great future among American shooters, again, should it ever be imported.
