Im going to be ordering my M9 next week and need to know what the manual says about +P or +P+ ammo.CDNN has a couple different brands for a good price and im thinking of getting a few boxes for defense use.Ill usually run normal stuff through it,but would like some premium when im out and about. Can you check your manual-PLEASE!
:)

I dont have a M9 yet nor the manual. steyr manufactured the M40 first then converted it to 9mm. believe you can convert the gun to 357sig or 40S&W if you want. it should handle 9mm +p+ though a steady diet of it will reduce the life span of any gun.

it will handle +p for sure. recoil should not be too bad either. you dont gain much with +p+ over +p in 9mm.

I plan on getting my M9 later this month or early next month.

I already own twin M40's

I have both the M9 and the S9 and the manual doesn't say anything about +p loads, it just warns against handloads.

I havent shot +p+ but i have shot a ton of +p through my M9....it loves it...no peening or evidince of wear at all anywhere on the gun.
