My 12g 870 (21" vent rib remchoke from Remington Country Store) likes to hold on to shotshells when it gets hot and a little dirty. Usually this is after 6-15 shots in rapid succession like at a practical shooting / 3gun match. It usually frees itself with some serious effort on the pump. This has an undesirable effect on my stage times :banghead:
I've checked the chamber and its pretty well polished. i can't find any fault there. I hit it with the dremmel and some polishing compound and that didn't seem to help or hurt.
My original 870P 18.5" Impr Cyl barrel didn't seem to have this problem.
I've been using Remington Gun Club Target 7 1/2 shotshells. Can anyone recommend a brand or feature to look for in a shotshell to reduce the chance of stuck shells?
