I voted Libertarian. I didn't do it because I expected the Libertarians to win. I did it because I can't stomach the Republicans enough to vote for THEM anymore, and if I didn't vote, they'd think I was apathetic.
You know what happens if you vote for the Republican or the Democrat no matter what? Each figures he only has to be a little bit less repulsive than the other, and they end up in a race to the bottom.
And the only way to end that race is to prove to them that, yes, no matter how bad the other guy gets, it IS possible to get so bad that people won't vote for you as the lesser evil.
