strange knife found ...

One of the most intereting knives that I've seen started out as a block of stainless steel and a machinist who had too much time on his hands.

Cross guard, handguard, handle, and blade...looked kinda/sorta like a '17 trench knife w/o the finger holes holes.

All one p iece.

Supposedly it was going to be a dive knife but he couldn't find anyone to make a holster. Pre Kydex.
