Well, greyhound, that's not as wild as it sounds. Once upon a time, there was a semiautomatic revolver (and, as far as I know, ONLY one) called the Webley-Fosbery. Check it out:

The Wife here created a small problem years ago. Of all the guns above to chose from, she picked the Smith Model 36 revolver (which was my first "carry gun") as "hers". Thus, forcing me to have to replace it. Several times to find one that was "just right" again.
Yea, I've done the experimenting in seach of the "just right" semis too. And understand the "trade offs" quite well. But more times than not when I jump in the jeans, it's still a revolver that gets to go.
