SSS: Shoot, Shovel, Shut up.

Shovel could also be replaced with Incinerate... make a nice bonfire...

Animal control is also a decent idea, but that way i see it it takes a bunch more work. if you regularly shoot on your property no one will even think twice probably.

Oh, look, more postings for the "gun owners are prone to violence and cruelty, see?" crowd to use. :barf:
That or a troll.

OK?

Wayne what do you mean by trolls, and bottom feeders? I posted it in both to get as much results as possible :fire:.

I wondered why someone would ask what to do about a stray cat, and ask it in a gun discussion forum, unless they were looking for suggestions to shoot it. I mean, it's a gun board, the name of the forum suggests that we talk about guns, and the forum rules mean that the discussions should be about guns.

This question has been asked rather frequently recently, and it always gets a few sickening responses, but I've seen the worst suggestion yet... one that turned my stomach... in this thread. In my anger, I crossed the line and broke the forum rules. It wasn't appropriate for me to vent as I did. The moderators give us good ways to report things we think inappropriate, and instead of using them, I went off. I apologize.

In some of his other posts he (White Stallion) talks about how he cruelly kills a Robin and what type of ammo to use to kill small pests. Something sounds fishy. :scrutiny:

go to a gun show, get you and old rohme 2 in bbl 22 short revolver. get some aguila colbiris, not supers, the colibris are about 300 fps. aim at his backside, that should do the trick.

Want to get rid of a cat?

She's mostly into parties...but hey.....you can make a cat a party, right?

I really don't want to rile anybody up, but the fact is, it is completely unecessary to kill an animal when there are other, far more humane ways, like the humane society/animal control, of taking care of such a problem. The fact that people here would say "just shoot it" or "bury it" or "burn it" really turns my stomach as well, and leaves me feeling more than a little disappointed.

I agree that this thread is a loaded question. Well, in any case, spray the cat with a hose, trap him, or hit him with a low pressure paintball if you have to, but don't kill it. It's just not necessary and that kind of thinking described above exemplifies the type of person that the anti's believe we are. Let not prove them to be right. :)

Save your ammo for a real pest, like a big Racoon or Bear. Those Racoons are dangerous to small/medium sized dogs, a neighbor found out from another neighbor, who lets a Racoon live in their attic. Animal Control, unfortunately cannot fix every problem. Sometimes, they can't or won't (in the case of my neighbors). Every situation is different, however. Violence should only be a last resort, don't cancel other options out without considering carefully everything, including consequences.

an easy way would be to mix ammonia and water in a spray bottle and spray it around your exterior.cats mark the area and return often and remark it, spraying the ammonia solution is like another cat saying get out, its my terratory.cats are particular bout this marking thing.it works.

you could also live trap it or call humane soceity, theyll come get it.a problem cat was hanging round here and destroying my ferns and strawberries.i sprayed him with the hose and sprayed ammonia around the foundation.havent seen it in a long time.someones probably feeding it,which is also a bad idea as this will bring more.

if you have a rodent problem and live in an area that wont allow discharging of firearms...try alil piece of fruit flavored bubblegum...rodents cant digest it.it works.
