Holy $#!^ this is as funny as it gets. I was in tears from laughing so hard. I bet this poo covered urin soaked kitty will learn his lesson!
Honestly though, I think spraying it with the hose or sprinklers are good ideas and if it continued like you guys said call animal control. But If you live far enough outside of the city limits and really thought it was neccasary why not put it down.

Mark your territory. Relieve yourself in strategic locations around your yard. The cat will sense your dominance and avoid the area. I read about this somewhere. I think it also works on other predators, like coyotes and tigers.

In all seriousness... either the paintball gun or light power settings on a BB/Pellet gun should be sufficient discouragment to cause the feline to find other hangouts.

I used a blow gun on a feral cat once and never saw it again. A 4" metal dart will do that to a cat. I hit it in its tail so the cat probably lived.
