gun show at George Brown Convention center today...... I found three dealers with the Keltec Sub2000 in .40 that take Glock mags..... the dealer with the lowest price had four of them. he sold them all in the first hour of the show.... I was first in line to buy one..... $310..... I think I did allright..... then I bought some 31 round magazines at the clip tables....

What are your experiences with these rifles? to me its just has the cool factor of a plinker that folds in half. I like that for stuffing under the seat of the truck.

Mine is in 9mm and has been a very nice carbine. They are actually pretty decent accuracy wise, mine will keep 2-2.5" groups at 50 yards.

I chose the .40 because I have enough guns in 9mm already.... including a 9mm carbine.... I also have tons of .40 brass so I can make lots of ammo...

I have the exact same rifle (.40/G22)...its awesome for the $$$ (I paid $260 last summer). I can hit a 6" metal platetarget all day long at 50 yards with it. At 100 yards COM shots on a silhouette target are easy. I am in the hunt for a sub2k 9mm/S&W 59 mag version. The best part of any sub2k is that it folds and fits into a laptop case for easy discrete travel;)

I've had the 9mm G17 version for awhile. Great little carbine. It is on loan to my son and I miss it. Today I stumbled across a new .40 G22 version that I bought. I hope it works as well as my 9.

$310 was a good deal, I paid more than that but then its the only .40 one I've found in a month of looking. Kel_Tec now shows list at $400

I like to put them in a laptop case for disguise.

I gave my Glock 17 version to my Dad. He sleeps very well at night. And that makes me sleep well at night.

i own the G17 version and i can tell you, they are great, i hate the front sight, but once i sighted in (was shooting to the low-left) it hit everything i aim at in the 100 yard range, it shoots everything from WWB, federal, Blazer, remington, wulf and many other without a problem, plus if you get a glock version they made 30 rounds mags for it, look for the 40sw 30 round version, is out there...and if you own a g22 you got everything covered.

great rifle, fun to shoot and a pain to mount a scope. but i love mine.

The Sub 2000 is a lot of fun to shoot but I would like a last shot bolt hold open. I agree that it is a problem to mount a scope but I solved that problem on mine by mounting an AK 47 side rail on the receiver. Now I can use a quick disconect scope mount. One other thing about this rifle is it shoots fast and accurate with a red dot mounted on it so I end up running out of ammo quickly.
