".... load prescription.... " LOL :D

The more I think about it the more I like the idea of those pre loaded plastic "cartridges" mentioned earlier to use for walking around loading. Or to just try out the idea even doing some rolled paper cartridges. The paper rolling would be more fussy than the slick plastic tubes but it would be a great way to try out the idea. And they would fit far more neatly into a cartridge belt pouch.

I bought these quick loaders from Dixie years a go. They work great. The yellow ones work for 44 and 50cal. I don't think they make them for 36 and 31cal. I have in the past used cartage cases with ear plugs to plug the end. If you have a Tap plastic were you live they might have something you could use.

http://www.winchestersutler.com/ has the quick load tubes. Yellow for 44/45 white for 31/36.

Been using them since brother Bower posted it on his thread. Made some wooden cartridge boxes with sliding lids that hold 48 rounds. Of course this thread deals with walking around loads so six or twelve in a small leather belt pouch would be ideal. The tube holds the ball/bullet securely yet it squeezes out easy. Bower also puts the caps into a short length of plastic tubing, one into each end. That set up, the caps added to the belt pouch would give one 6 or twelve loads in one package. An empty caps tine would hold enough lube for that many shots.
