Sunglasses that double as eye protection recommendations

Several years I found that I was fatal to expensive sunglasses. Then I found these Uvex glasses at WW Grainger and every year I buy three or four pair in dark, clear or yellow. Ends up being cheaper than one nice pair and i have a completely usable glasses in each car and my shooting bag.

I have a pair of Oakley XX's that work great. They fit close to the eyes and wrap around. I recently replaced the lenses with new ones from a company called walleva. I've got a lot of mileage out of this pair so far.

Eyewear; UV/UVB protection....

I have bad eyesight in my right eye so I need corrective lenses.
:(
If you need or want protective eyewear that can work in bright sunlight or offers top quality protection, Id check these websites.
Oakley, Wiley X, Ray-Ban, Gargoyles, etc are highly rated. The US armed forces have used & issued eyewear for SW Asia(Iraq-Afganistan) for 12/14 years now.

See; www.5.11tactical.com www.uscav.com www.cabelas.com www.nra.org www.galls.com www.midwayusa.com www.policehq.com .
Many "spec ops" & "operators" use high end brands like Wiley X and Oakley.

T-70 Rem

Remington T-70 smoke lenses has been my everyday for two years. Midway USA $13.50 cheap enough but haven't been able to lose or break them yet.

I wear some that I buy from the local welding supply called Hellraisers, I have some in clear, yellow and tinted. I wear them anytime I'm outside and the suns out.

They are light and comfortable and cost six bucks a pair

The only bad thing is that I have an oddly shaped head/face. So finding sunglasses for my ugly mug can get a bit tedious. I'm not a big shopper, usually in and out. Shopping for glasses on the other hand is an hour long procedure. Trying on pairs multiple times.
I fear I may have to visit a brick and mortar store to try any on unfortunately.

What's wrong with Under Armor?

There is nothing wrong with their products, it is their prices that are the problem. Under Armour is a fashion brand and buyers pay a premium for the logo.

My sunglasses are the same safety glasses I've been required to wear at work for the past 15 years

They're cheap, comfortable and I'm already used to them so why change.

They look just fine. IMO unless you're wearing some 70's chrome ray bans sunglasses look like sunglasses look like sunglasses be they $5 Wally World specials or $150 oakleys.

Mine are ANSI rated crews bearkat that I get off eBay for under $3 a pair.

Edge makes nice safety glasses can get the polarized ones for around 30 dollars lots a designs

I've been wearing a pair of ESS CDIs for about two years now. They are Mil Std, ANSI and OSHA rated. They have a polarized option that is not Mil Std rated.

If you like the "classic" Oakley style with the big wraparound lenses and the frame on top, look at the ESS Crossbow Suppressor series. They have interchangeable frames that have flat eaepieces to fit under ear pro.

A bunch of good brands and choices listed.

I like the Smith and Wesson high definitions. Unfortunately, I now need my bifocals to shoot my handguns accurately. Still trying to work through that.
