i just read a article in the backwoodsman magazine on the super comanche 410, the guy talked real good about it, i was wondering if anybody had one? and what you guys thought of it? i have seen them at gunshows for under $200 but never paid much attention to it. seem like it would be a handy truck/snake gun.

When I saw the Comanche in a gun guide/magazine last year I thought I just had to have one for the fun of it but I changed my mine when I recently looked at them in person at a local gun show. They were priced at $200 but they look totally cheap, so I decided that I could live without one for now. The quality reminded me of an old Jennings pistol from years ago. I pick up Backwoodsman from time to time, so I'll have to get a copy and read the article. I'm not saying that I won't buy one eventually but I've downgraded it a little on my priority list. It's possible that my decision is biased by the little .410 snake charmer rifle that I bought 2 years ago to carry around the woods. I paid about $120 for it brand new and it's a much better firearm and much more effective if needed, besides just having some plinking fun with .410's.

my dealer has sold several never a come back and the couple owners I have talked with liked them Their not fancy but they work
