Super light 243

I went on the prowl for a light .243 to trade to my sister to get back my dad's old 760 in .257 Roberts. I found a like-new Ruger American .243 and got it for her. Now I wish I had it.

Just wanted to follow up here shot some factory loads to get on paper and the gun did well . Switched over to some handloads ( 40 gr. H4350 over 95 gr nosler ballistic tip ) gun shot a tad bit lower but had a real nice group the pic is 3 shots . That will be my hunting round .keep in mind this is at only 30 yards but that will end up being my zero. I’ll try at 100 when we get better weather.

Very close to my load of 41gn of AA4350 with the 95gn ballistic tip. I’ve shot 2 whitetail this year with the load and it preformed very well. Good expansion and penetration from my limited testing. Good Bullets that I plan on buying more of
