Also, I am looking forward to doing photos where black folks aren't represented s anything but run of the mill Americans, w/o references to slavery or race issues.

I was just thinking about that the other day because of the dustup with the new S&W revolver, which according to HCI is, "...made for bored white guys." Because we all know a black man only wants a nine millimeter that he can shoot sideways.

I think it'd be neat if you did a poster that smashed those particular stereotypes. Maybe a black man with an O/U, a woman with a Hawken, etc. all in the same photo.

Edited for grammar

Oleg, I wish I could air-drop a few thousand of these over St. Louis and Kansas City. (And East LA, NYC, Chicago, etc.).

Print one from the linked hi-res file. Photocopy a few hundred (cheap in volume, color isn't needed for it). Leave a copy wherever you go (bus, magazine rack, waiting room, etc.)

Hey Ben,OLeg,

Me and My friends are available.
:D

It seems that me and a few of my shooting buddies who do not happen to be white, but are Christian, conservative, all over 40,firearms instructors should take a group photo of each of us all holding the new gun,and send it to this bozo with a caption saying:

That's a poster that sends chills up the spine.

I'm putting it on my screen saver at work. Let's see the gun banners argue with that one.

Thanks, Oleg.

Oleg...

One thing bothered me about this poster - I finally figured out what it is.

The man in the poster bears (to me, at least) more than a passing resemblance to the comedian, Bill Cosby. Mr. Cosby is, IIRC, anti-gun. Or am I mistaken?
