You would think that if anybody that actually saw it, thought it was a real weapon, it would have been taken back to "higher". That's a good way to get an attaboy from the aforementioned "higher".

Look at the size of the thumb screws that hold the scope mount on. Compare them to the scope, those thumb screws would be over an inch in diameter. Something isn't right with that, I think its some kids toy/decoy somebody made.
