Just thought I'd give you guys the heads up...
I went to Cabela's for the first time ever the other day and saw they carry SureFire lights. I wanted a G2 LED for my shotgun and M6 carbine and was about to order online when I was pleased to see I could get one in person marked down from $69.99 to $49.99... So I proceeded to the checkout. While I was there, I decided to get a Cabela's Club Card VISA. They give you 2% cash back on in-store purchases, 1% out of store, rewards points, etc. They also toss you a $15 store credit to open the account. I figured I could see myself spending quite a bit there over time so I thought it'd be a good idea. So the kid starts to ring up my order and I saw the G2 pop up at $34.99... I immediately though it was a mistake so I contemplated running back to get the second one but my girlfriend was with me (hungry, whining, you get the idea) so I figured I'd just drive back (45 minutes) the next day...
Next day I show up, ask for a price check on a G2 LED. Guy says. "49.99". Damn, it was a mistake. Shoulda got another while I had the chance! So he says, "well take it to the register and have them ring it up, maybe it'll happen again..." So at this point I'm like, screw it, I'll just use my $15 credit and get the damn thing since I drove all the way back there. So the cashier rings me up for the light ($49.99) and a few other items... When she swipes my Cabela's VISA, the price on the light drops to $34.99! Turns out they have a club member special till the end of the month on them. Who knows what else is 50% off there???
She showed me a partial list of about 30 items, and I saw a set of Wolverine boots (Reg $160 for $80) but nothing else that interested me...
