You are correct, sir, if you are referring to the Phils beating the Reds in the 10th inning. I am quite pleased with the outcome, especially since that puts the Phils 3 games back of the Mets, facing them tomorrow. Oh, I'm sorry, you are prolly a Braves fan.:neener:

$33/ case for (ground!) shipping. That puts a $7.50 box right close to $10. Still pretty good for factory fresh ammo (in the present environment). Waiting on the brown truck. Joe

I shot 50 rounds of the ball ammo through my 64' Colt Python yesterday. It performed great, wasn't that dirty and was accurate(Of course...the Python seems to make all ammo I use "accurate" :))

They got me for $40 to ship 2K, which isn't too bad. Natchez and Midway ship similar weights for a lot less, but they are closer to me.

gunzrfunz has been banned from the Smith and Wesson forum for his personal and racist attacks on members there. That he has done the same here and called a female forum member a "bitch" should qualify him for the same on this forum.

Just as an FYI - He's been banned from this forum as well. See link below:
Looks like they closed the thread . Don't see "banned" under his name though .

Any mods watching this forum ?

The thread was closed, but you ought to be able to at least read it. If not, it was a thread Gunzrfunz started as a complaint that J&G billed his CC for the extra ammo, and "therefore committed fraud". I've been reading this thread from the beginning, and when reading the new thread on TFL, I felt compelled to include a link to this thread to offer some balance. Needless to say, he got jumped on, and when I suggested he posted on TFL rather than THR to hopefully get some sympathy, he admitted to being banned. I pasted his reply below.

I hope this doesn't put the Mods on the spot, and apologize to them and to all in advance for giving Gunz any additional attention; certainly more than he deserves. Just thought y'all might be interested to know that at some point, it is possible to cross the line.

The reason I didn't post on THR is because of the person who reported this to J&G Sales , also sent moderators the PRIVATE MESSAGES sent to him by me and got me banned. So, basically your analysis is WRONG, and looking for "sypathy" by me is also..WRONG.
Basically, I give respect where given, and respond to insults with such in kind.
I have been totally honest in reporting of events and my positions. I cannot, however, say the same for the ppl slinging mud in my direction, as I am POSITIVE that if such an occurence happened to them, they would not be so forthcoming as they are so high-and-mighty claiming to be.

He was indeed banned - June 29th - a day after his last post here.
I believe you , but strangely his profile page says he was online here yesterday ?

umm..yeah. Let me look for that number...hmm..should be around here somewhere...Hey look there goes Elvis!

Please ..... He was keeping 500 rounds he didn't pay for . Assuming that the rest of us would clears his conscience I guess :scrutiny:

He has now been banned on three forums. This was not due to his questionable ethics on the J&G sale, but for his hostile and insulting responses to members on three forums who questioned him on this.

tipoc, do you have a link to his activities regarding the issue on the S&W forums? I can't seem to find it. Perhaps the mods there deleted it, I'm not sure.

With all the drama, I forgot to mention I'd been following this thread from the beginning to see what peoples' response was to the quality of the ammo. Seemed to be good, so I picked up a few boxes of each. Both shot great, and my Smith liked both, so I'm going to order more of the ball ammo (if there's any left :(). Thanks for the heads-up, DMK. Even with shipping, it's still cheaper than buying it locally (and paying the sales tax).

The Match ammo is the real bargain even after shipping . New Winchester sells for over $20 .

I agree. I shot some match from a snubnose and it made a nice little group, just a tad high but centered (good for a 6'oclock hold for sure).

The FMJ was slightly hotter and seemed to open up the groups a bit (unless it was just me)

I ordered and received 1000 of the ball. It came 50 rounds to a small box, no tray. They are marked Olin so I am guessing they are fairly recent military surplus. Excellent practice ammo, I am going to order 1000 of the wadcutter.

Is there a number on the head stamp along with the WCC ? That would be the year . ex: WCC62 = 1962 .

The package styling and Winchester-Western label leads me to think 1960's . Possibly there are several vintages ?

Joe , did you buy the Match or ball ?

I imagine it's pretty expensive for those of us East of the Mississippi .
