And here, I coulda SWORN it was "let's talk paintball"... >:)

Actually, looking at the different types of players, you can put this thread back on topic (somewhat). The "Old School" type (woods players) tended to be more the type to shoot real guns, too, and so tend to be more polite. The newer style (speedball) tend to be younger, the products of lots of liberal indoctrination, therefore corser...

And I REALLY need to order a bunch of those stickers! Hey DVDTracker: don't suppose you would barter for mead, would you? ;)

Mead? No, I'm not a beer person. Reloading supplies on the other hand...

explain this mead you speak of...is it home made? Is it like shine? what is the %? Can i have a drink?:D

If it contains alcohol, i am always interested. :p

DVDTracker, here's a couple of links you might want to add to a-10.org

Here's a set of pics showing construction of one of the models:

FWIW, I'm currently building a 1/12 scale A-10, using a pair of OS 15 CV-R engines and a pair of fan units from a Kyosho F-86. I know it's against the AMA rules, but I've got an electric Airsoft ak-47 that I'll be stripping down and installing in the nose :D

Typical...

Somehow Bedlamite, you doing that DOESN'T supprise me ;)

Arinvolvo: mead is honey wine. If you've ever seen The 13th Warrior, when "Eben" is offered a drink and goes through his whole "I am forbidden to taste.." line, what he's being offered is mead. Yep, it IS homebrew... if you'ld like to know more, PM me...

I thought there were no known "original" recipies for mead - that it was a beverage lost to time.

BTW - those R/C A-10s are amazing!

Pendragon:

While there might not be any "original" recipes, we DO know that it was fermented honey. That allows us to come up with an approximation. WOuld a Viking drink it and agree it was "correct"? I have no idea. However, those who DO drink it like it, and that's all I care about... ;)

And I think we should PROBABLY take any further mead discussions to PM land...
