Anyone ever use these guys? Are they reliable?

Also, they cast their own lead bullets. Are they good? I was looking at the 185 gr. SWC .45. $31/1000. Cheaper than retail for me, even with shipping.

One last question. Assuming lead casters use the same mold, would these bullets differ from one company to the next? This is assuming they use the same production techniques and aren't sloppy with quality.

All comments are welcome.

I live about 30 miles from them and buy all my supplies from them, they are by far the best around here. I use there hard cast 40cal 180 gr. in my 10mm and push them to 1150 fps with very little leading.

All the products that I have used from them have been excellent. They don't cast their own, I think they order them in bulk from a larger caster. I know this because I asked them what kind of lube they used and the guy said he didn't know, but he could call their supplier and ask if I wanted him to.

Anyhow, they are great people to deal with and I now order all my bullets from them. They have great prices on other things too, like powders, brass, and primers.

As far as quality and such, I live in baltimore and when I get low on supplies, I make the two and a half hour drive up there (if that says anything). I just make sure I order alot and the shipping costs usually justify the trip (also I get to stop at the new Cabela's on the way home).

hope this helps,
Damon

T&T's lead bullets are mostly Star brand bullets. They're comparable to most cast bullets on the market.
T&T is usually at shows on the east coast, and has great prices. I've had no complaints with them, though I've never bought from them online.

I used to buy from them all the time, until I found a suppier a bit closer to home.
Never had any complaints.

I use lots, at least by my standards, of 200 gr LSWC Hard Cast. The qty is between 4K and 6K per year. I know this is small potatoes compared to some. I load them from relatively mild (AA #2)right up to wild side 195 to 200 PF for pins and get virtually no leading even at the wild side using VVN340. The funny thing is in both loadings in both my kimber and my Wilson the harder I push the cleaner they run. Please note all the loading info used is within limits specified eithe in loading manuals or based on vendor supplied info. WIthin the accepted limits of the manuals I can not push them hard enough to lead, really at all except in my old hermaphrodite 1911 with a RR slide and gov't bbl or my 1917 S&W which has a craters of the moon barrel.

I order all of my .45 ACP/Colt/-70, 9mm, and .38 lead bullets from T&T. I've been quite pleased with them and, as you, find them cheaper even with shipping than any place local. They don't carry .380 ACP lead bullets (although they advertise(d) them), so I have to get those elsewhere (what a pain, huh?)

Thanks for the info guys. They sound like a good firm. I think I will get some bullets from them and see what happens. Thing I noticed it buying 1000 or 5000 works out to about the same per 1000 when factoring in shipping - about $44/1000. This is still cheaper than retail for me.

I was hoping to get powder and primers cheaper there too, but factoring in hazmat fees it's still cheaper to buy local. I get Bullseye for 15.98 including tax and Winchester Primers for $15.96 including tax.

Any place I can get cheaper? I'd buy 10 pounds of powder and 10k primers at a time.
