hi, i was wondering if the tac-star magzine extension was any good. i know they have 7, 8, and 10 rounds extension's and thought it would be cool to get the 10 shot one for my remington 870:D anybody tried'em? are they reliable? thanks for any info:)

The actual tube is good but my buddy had problems with the spring. Don't recall the issue but he took it off and is considering a Wolff or other high end manufacturer to put it back on.

Had a Tac Star on my 1187 to extend capacity to 10 rounds. The body of the tube had a tendency to walk out of the ring collar that attaches the mag to the gun's magazine. Easy to pound back into place but would walk back out under recoil after. Tried a few adhesives to solve the problem but it persisted. Knurling on the ataching ring was also very shallow to the point of almost being useless. Replaced it with a Choate 10 rounder.

I've only used the Tacstar 6 shot extension. It has been fine. I have a 12 shot Choate that I'm just starting to use. So far so good. However it is one muzzle heavy son of a gun when it is loaded.
