I just bought a ATACTICAL A1S. It comes with one switch to turn on/off and another to select the brightness levels. It is also rechargeable. Very sturdy.
A number of youtube reviews suggest it is a good product. I seem to recall one of the reviews said they were made by/for Ollight as a low end brand for them to sell.I just bought a ATACTICAL A1S. i think the A1 is $20 and the A1S is $30.For $18 plus on Amazon for the ATACTICAL A1S, its a darn well made flashlight. I am sure there are better out there, but for 99% of my time, this is just what the doctor ordered.
This thread - https://www.thehighroad.org/index.php?threads/low-light-tactics-techniques-and-procedures.788712/ - may be helpful to you. In it, Jeff White thoroughly explains tactical considerations, and I explain the various types of lights available. The goal was that between the two sets of posts one can make a more informed decision on what their tac light needs are, and then have the information to select a light that meets those needs.Looking for the best tactical light flashlight brightest LED with a decent price and battery life speaking of Mag lite streamlight and any other what's your professional opinion on the best flashlight that's not too big and can be held when walking with your gun I do not want to attach a light to my pistol
Well, they showed up in the mail yesterday. Both of them work. The two rechargeable batteries work and the two Chargers work. I I'm pretty sure that they are not 10000 lumens. My uncalibrated eye suggests they might be 500 lumens. They're plenty bright for my purposes. I wish they just turned on and off but they're multimode. Three different brightnesses, SOS comma and strobe.View attachment 233037 Somehow i came across this bargain I could not pass up.
I am not completely convinced one can get two 10,000 Lumen flashlights with batteries and chargers for $12, but they will be here by the end of the week and I will see what I get. I am often pleasantly surprised by the cheap Chinese stuff I have bought. Sometimes I get what I paid for though.
It ships from the US too, so i had to pay 99 cents sales tax.
Timbo, my friend, you've inadvertently highlighted a very important distinction: There are tactical lights, and there are EDC lights. Certainly one can employ in an EDC light tactically if that's all they have on them, but dedicated tactical lights have features that make them much easier and more efficient to use tactically. True tactical lights are also more durable and robust than lower cost lights. Hence, the tactical light moniker. For my daily needs though, this light does what I need an EDC light to do.
