At the 2013 SHOT show, there was a company by the name of Nemesis Arms or something like that. They were showcasing a bolt action rifle that could quickly break down to fit a suit case. I would love to have one but can't afford to spare $4,000 to buy one. Is there a long range centerfire rifle, either semi or bolt, that could fill this bill?
I'm thinking about a take down bolt action with a 16" barrel and a folding stock but I don't know what's out there (beyond an Jap Arisaka like in Dirty Harry).
How hard would it be for a machinist to make a quick detach barrel for something like a Savage with it's seperate barrel retaining nut if a take down bolt action isn't common?
This rifle would be for novelty purposes in case someone was wondering. I'm not someone that belongs in a Bond film.
