Talk to me about the Glock 26

I've had a G26 for about six years. Even though I have had the gun for several years, it has been locked away because I bought it but only to help a friend out. I recently used mine to renew my CCW since I had been carrying the G19 and I was really pleasantly surprised how it performed. The differences are small but the G26 with the standard mag is slightly easier to conceal. Weight difference between the two is not a factor. The G26 is a good gun. Buy one and shoot it often so you feel comfortable with it. I personally prefer Galco holsters but there are several good makers out there.

As far as what you need?? Nothing really, leave it stock and shoot it until you are really familiar with it and then decide if you need bells and whistles. Glocks reliability comes from being left alone and not tinkering with it.

You cannot go wrong with the G26. I prefer it over the G19. It is the back of the grip that prints, not the front. This is were the G26 is better than the G19.
If you want to use a pinky extension, then go for it. The G26 is accurate, reliable and highly concealable. I carry mine in a TT Gunleather IWB, with a G17 magazine as spare.

I own one. Trust my life to it daily. Only aftermarket parts I have is Trijicon night sights and Jentra grip plug. Never had any failures.
