I had to pull abot 250 bullets due to a faulty scale. Now, I am using LC brass that has been sized and trimmed, ect. The pulled bullets are a touch loose to let slide as is. My question; I have a Redding .308 Taper crimp die, will it distort the neck if I put a taper crimp on it to hold it tight? I tried a Lee Factory crimp die and had problems with a few not wanting to extract. Cases are trimmed to 2.005", and with non-pulled bullets and NO crimp do fine.

I would take the de-capping pin out of the expander and at least neck size them again.

No crimp of any kind can make up for loose neck tension.

+1

I've played this game before and agree %100 there is no substitute for proper neck tension.

Yes, I resized all of them after pulling and re-checked length. I sure hate to chuck 250 bullets though.

So, are you saying you squeezed down the bullets when you pulled them?

Pulled .308" bullets should be the same size (.308") they were before you pulled them.
At least the part that fits inside the case.
