Targets and Target Stands

I'm tired of finding shot up target stands at the range or finding them all in use.

I'm considering buying a steel plate setup that I found at

For about $80 you can get an H-shaped base (a 2x4 is used as a post) and a 1/4" thick, 8" round target that attaches to the 2x4.

(KD) Standard plate, base & hardware - $85

They should last forever.

This would be for action pistol practice.

Any other ideas out there?

What do you think of this target? H base metel upright AR500 target 12" of AR500 below target so the up right will not get shot up.

They'll sell you a 15 inch T520 round plate for $36.
And a portable folding stand.
The design of the stand has changed since I bought mine a few years back.
I never go to my gun club without two of them-

I don't know if you're just looking at steel or what, but the best thing I've bought was the folding stands from arizonashooters.com. I keep 6 of those, (12) 4' sections of 1x2 for uprights and a box of IPSC or IDPA cardboard targets in my truck. You can setup just about anything with those, just about anywhere.

I made one in about 1/2 hour out of a few PT 1x1s...Works just fine...

Birchwood-Casey makes some great spinner targets. They have a magnum and a super-magnum designed for large calibers. Two different sizes as well.

I think they run around $40-50 and you get two different target sizes on each one.
