I just purchased a S&W Model 37 and I'm in the market for some leather. I really like the looks and features of the IWB Bianchi Pistol Pocket and the Tauris Standard High Ride OTB holsters with thumb breaks...

Does anyone have experience with Tauris and/or this holster?

Dang they sure look good. And the prices seem reasonable.

Thant thumb-bvreak model looks like it might be a perfect match for my 3" Model 29.

It's nice to see another company making LEATHER holsters for REVOLVERS.
It seems that so many companies think everyone who CCW uses an automatic in nylon or plastic.

I have a Tauris holster and double mag pouch for my 1911. It is very well made!

Placed order today

Thanks to everyone for your quick responses. I spoke with Mike at Tauris today and placed my order. It'll be a one-of-a-kind modified Standard High Ride holster w/delivery expected in the next two weeks or so....

I appreciate good craftsmanship, and after talking with Mike, I'm certain he'll deliver. :D

Tauris Holster - Excellent & Recommended

Today is a great day - I rec'd my Tauris Standard High Ride leather holster (OTB) with a beautiful mohogany finish, thumb break and tension screw. My model 37 fits snuggly and securely. The FBI cant and 1-1/4 belt openings are perfectly positioned and the holster rides very comfortably. The quality is superb!

My other holsters include:
Alessi shoulder rig for my Det Special
Buckheimer shoulder rig for my M-19
Roys Original pancake for the Det Special
Mil-Tech for my Taurus
Uncle Mikes IWB for the M-37

All of the above (except UM & Mil-Tech) are 21 to 24 year old leather holsters and they're still going strong.

Mike Taurisano has my endorsement and I recommend anyone looking for nice leather holsters to give his a look.....

Diamondback...
Unfortunately, I don't have a digital camera yet - Every time I think of getting one, I end up buying another gun instead..

Guess I'd better ask whether he makes the Standard Hip Holster for the CZ-75B. Looks much like the old Gaylord design.
