Taurus 1911 Stainless

    Well, I finally saw one today. Unfortunately, it was $749:eek:!!! Saw it over at Winchester Gallery in Ft. Worth if anyone is interested. Looked really nice, and would be a heck of a deal if one could be found in the $500-$550 range (I've seen the blued ones as low as $479 before). Frankly, $750 is getting close to Colt prices.

    Ouch! Prices have certainly gone up.... probably partly because of the shrinking value of the US dollar since they are imported. They are selling for $650 on GunBroker.

    Saw them for $639 couple weeks ago at a gun show in VA black ones $519 bought another glock instead.

    I'm a great supporter of tauras Int. but they don't manufacture a single pistol that comes anywhere close to that pricepoint in terms of real value. Keep your patience they'll come way down over the next year or so.

    I just bought a SW1911 for $700, no way I'd spend $750 on a Taurus.
